Please join the Carlsbad Beach Fest™ Volunteer Team and help convey the event’s mission by supporting your community and showing others that by working together, we can reach our goals to protect, preserve, and enhance our coastal waterways and beaches through education and camaraderie.
WHAT WE NEED
- Responsible adults and young adults to help set up activities, booths, and entertainment.
- Fun energetic beach lovers to lead and interact with people while they enjoy the festivities at this exciting event.
- Beach enthusiasts to convey and show how important our coasts are and help clean up the beach.
Community Service Certificates are available upon request.
DAY-OF-EVENT DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Set-up and break down.
- Run/Walk course assistants.
- Vendor and booth assistants.
- Event greeters.
- Sport activities assistants.
- Volunteer day of check-in.
- Run registration assistants.
- T-shirt distribution.
- Opportunity drawing assistants.
- Massive beach cleanup from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
REQUIREMENTS
Commit to a five-hour shift, be able to lift 10-40 pounds, sign a waiver,
and enjoy being in the sun and 
working on the sand!
