Environmental Stewardship Through Carlsbad Beach Fest

Like many California coastal communities, Carlsbad faces the ongoing challenge of maintaining the health and beauty of its ocean and beaches in an era of limited resources.

Carlsbad Beach Fest® helps fill that need by teaching the public how to participate as long-term stewards of their coastal environment.  It also brings together public and private sectors to make needed improvements and help resolve environmental changes that threaten sustainability.

State and city representatives recognize Beach Fest as a legacy celebration, one that will continue to cultivate support and inspire the community to collaborate and take personal responsibility to help with conservation efforts.
